Nataraj S Bhat(Kannada: ನಟರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್. ಭಟ್) (born 23 February 1984), known mononymously as Nataraj, is an Indian actor, who primarily works in Kannada language films, is best known for his role as Sandal Raja in the Kannada film "Rama Rama Re" which was released in 2016.
Early life[edit]
Nataraj S Bhat was born to Subramanya Bhat and Saraswati in Tiptur in Tumakuru district. He obtained his primary education in Tiptur and higher Education in Kadur. He obtained a bachelor's degree in arts. He has also obtained Bachelor of Law from Kuvempu University
Career[edit]
Nataraj started his career in the film industry with director P Seshadri as assistant director, Nataraj has also acted in several films and serials. He later acted in the lead role in the movie "Rama Rama Re"[1] which was released on 7 June 2016. he played the role of a convict, Sandal Raja[2] who was sentenced to death and escaped the jail. The actor visited prisons to understand the psyche and behavior of inmates for this role. The film “Rama Rama Re” earned Nataraj more recognition in the respective industry with this movie. Though he played a role with very little dialogues, he managed to rise as a shining star and hence, was loved and appreciated by the viewers.[3] He is also active in Kannada theater.
