Nathaniel Eaton (writer)
Nathaniel Eaton is an American journalist and writer. A theater graduate of Boston University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he performed on Broadway, in films, and on television. He appeared in dozens of TV commercials and as the Chickenman for McDonald's. He toured Asia in Hamlet with The American Theater.
Eaton received a masters in writing and journalism from the University of San Francisco. He wrote for the New York Post, The Village Voice, and the SF Weekly.
His first play Dream at the End of the World, a monologue, was published worldwide in 1998 by Samuel French Inc.. He then went on to write Second Hand Circus and The Dream Merchants. His fourth published play Hero: A Journey was critically acclaimed by Bill Moyers. He co-wrote the movie Which Way, Por Favor? which won awards at the San Francisco Independent Film Festival
He has published two novels, Packing For the Apocalypse and Inspiration Conspiracy.
Eaton is also the co-founder of Living Fiction Films and the New York City based theater company Inspiration Conspiracy.
Eaton is a founding storyteller for The Moth NYC and has appeared on their main stage and NPR show.
He has taught literature and drama at 826 Valencia with Dave Eggers, Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley, Montclair Kimberley Academy, and Sonoma Country Day School.
He currently lives in Northern California.
