Nationwide Metal Recycling Limited is a UK based metal recycling company.[1] Based in Essex, in North-East of London, it is mainly engaged in collecting the scrap, metal wastes and involved in its different recycling methods, dumping and disposal of unused metal, hardware bodies and cars and processing them further by using different equipment to produce recycled scrap metals for customers. Their recycling facilities are located in Cambridgeshire, Herts and Lincolnshire.

History[edit]
The company was founded in 2007 by Edwards brothers namely, Douglas Edwards and James Edwards. The Edwards brothers initially started their venture with scrap metal recycling company called S. B. Wheelers as scrap owners and operators. Today they have spread their own business of metal recycling in a grand scale to different major parts of London. Doug and Jimmy, as, they are locally and familiarly called, used their experience and expertise to establish the company and took it to a new horizon. The Edwards brothers established their business on a site near to A12, which is a perfect place to explore and access for better growth and business opportunities.
The company further stretched itself in Cambodia in 2008 and is today one of the most engaging scrap yards[2] in Cambridgeshire. After great success with the established two yards, they further purchased a new site in Harlow in the year 2011. This opportunity helped them to include 30 heavy vehicles to make sure that they can further expand their business in a more profitable manner.

The Environmental Impact of Recycling Metals[edit]
There are many essential ways that recycling metals benefits our environment. From cutting down the greenhouse gas emissions to saving energy and protecting the depletion of our natural resources. Recycling metals dramatically reduces the amount of energy used to produce steel, for instance, from the virgin ore in comparison to producing it from scrap metal. Metals can be recycled almost indefinitely without irradicating any of the materials properties. Therefore, it is a re-useable resource, offering a never-ending life cycle.
Recycling scrap metals also helps to protect our landfills by preventing unwanted metals from being dumped and thus contaminating the soils and air with their toxins.
Oaklore[4][edit]
NMR is a proud sponsor of Oaklore, an organization dedicated to re-building forests in order to offset carbon emissions and help regenerate our environment. Recently they have also contributed to new plantations in the East Anglia area, a joint effort for ecological conservation.
Global Functional Areas[edit]
The metals reusing operations are geologically assorted, with operations in five nations, including the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, India and South Africa containing a system of handling offices, numerous with profound water port access, bolstered by a broad system of feeder yards from which to source recyclable ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Recycling Solutions[edit]
NMR Recycling Solutions is a worldwide e-reusing business,[5] with set up operations in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe and North America and a creating vicinity in the Asia-Pacific district and Africa. Nationwide Metal Recycling Solutions has an extensive and financially savvy reusing administration for “end of life” and excess electrical and electronic gear and materials, extending from item evaluation to reusing.
