Nabila King (born 1 January 1981),popularly known as NazzKing, is an afro-pop Ghanaian[1][2] musician and actor. He rose to fame after delivering Take Me Back.[3] In 2016, NazzKing established his own record label Nazz King Music Worldwide (NKMW)[4] after releasing a couple of songs. In 2019 he won Rising Star Of The Year and Entertainer Of The Year 2019.[1][2]at the 2019 Northern-Ghana Entertainment Awards[1][5][2][6]

Early life[edit]

NazzKing was born in Dagbon,Ghana. His name Nabila stands for a king in Ghana. He was from the family of Yakubu and Abiba Iddrisu. King was brought up in Northern Ghana. He idolized his favorite artists such as Akon and Fella Kuti of who he could memorize all their songs and recite them with ease.He attended Wataniya Primary School for his early childhood education. He later on went to Wataniya Junior High School in Savelugu and relocated Italy to further studies in “Istituto Professionale Di Stato Per L’agricoltura”[7]

Music Career[edit]

Been Nursed in a Cultural school[7],Nabila King has gone well to release several popular songs notably "‘No More’"[8] and "Take Me Back"[9],with many more songs on his numerous digital platforms[10].

Acting career[edit]

Nabila King kicked off his acting[11] pursuits in 2015[7].He played[7] in television roles in shows such as “Da Nazareth Betlemme”[12].He was also involved in acting groups such as "Presepe Vivente di Gangi" and also Vivere in Assisi.

Awards and recognition[edit]

Nabila being an Afro-Pop artist has enabled him to share stage by the likes of Timaya, Lil Kesh and Stonebwoy. He was nominated[13][6]for several awards in Ghana on which he won, organizers of the awards discussed and came to a sound conclusion on which it was decided to be streamed live [2]via Facebook the event, following the ban on social gathering in the wake of the deadly COVID-19 Pandemic[1].
