Nebula Graph [1], is an open source graph database that was developed by vesoft Inc., a company based in Hangzhou, China. Nebula Graph is commercially available worldwide under Apache 2.0 licensing.
It has been deployed by Internet companies that include Tencent, Meituan, RED, vivo, and others. Nebula Graph has several use cases for users that include creating a real-time recommendation engine, fraud and cybersecurity threat detection, and artificial intelligence and machine learning implementations.

Vesoft Inc. received $8M [2] in a series pre-A funding round in June 2020 for Nebula Graph. The lead investor was Redpoint China Ventures. Matrix Partners China, who previously contributed as an angel investor, also contributed to the series pre-A round.
