Neha Thirani Bagri

Neha Thirani-Bagri (born July 16, 1987 in Mumbai, India) is an award-winning[1] [2]Indian journalist and Overseas Press Club Fellow.

Daughter of Mumbai businessman, Anand Thirani,[3][not in citation given] Neha was schooled at Bombay International School in Mumbai, after which she pursued a dual BA from Northwestern University[4] in English Literature and International Relations. In 2010, she completed her Masters in English Literature from St. Anne's College, Oxford. After graduating, Neha worked as a correspondent for the Times of India[5] and a Features Writer for their Crest Edition,[6] later joining the The New York Times in India as a reporter from 2011 to 2015.[7][8] In 2015, she decided to pursue her second MA in Journalism. She is currently at the Graduate School of Journalism, Columbia University.[9] She is married and lives in New York City.
