Nesia Junior
Nesia (born September 27, 1988), known professionally as Nesia Junior (NJR), is a self-taught independent Indonesian DJ, entrepreneur, host, presenter, MC, theater actress, and singer. Nesia Junior was born in Bukit Tinggi, Indonesia and she started developing an interest in music at a young age, and her parents supported her interest.
Based on the dancing music prosperity in Indonesia, she maximizes her skill with explore many music genres on the dancing music scene, such as prog, prog france, soulful, nu disco, EDM, trap, hip hop, and RnB. Started from December 2012, she begins to start her career as a DJ until now. On 2017, Nesia junior peaked at International ranking number 37 on the 100 Top FDJ List.[1]
Life and Career[edit]
Nesia was born on September 27, 1988, in Bukit Tinggi, Indonesia. Her parents are Leon Abdullah and Sofia Candra, she is the youngest of three siblings. She graduated from SMUN 3 Setiabudi, Jakarta on 2006. She worked hard for everything. She taking lessons and practicing with the instrument throughout her young age. She realize music is her passion.
During her early career, Nesia became coordinating with several young artists and helped her before her breakthrough. She launched her single hits such as Tissue, Papatong, This Vibe, My Bitch Bad, and others.
Musical Style[edit]
Nesia's regular genres are House,Proghouse/Popprog, Trance, Elektro, and PsyTrance. She also play other available genres by request such as Dutch,Breakbeat,Funkot, Drum & Bass, Techno, and Dub Step.
