Nest Bedding, Inc. is a factory direct furniture company headquartered in Chico in Northern California founded in 2011.[1]
History[edit]
Nest Bedding is a family owned business established in 2012 by Joe Alexander.[2] Joe was a surfer and sold mattresses in California before loosing his job. He started Nest Bedding by using his $50K severance. The company became profitable and had 12 showrooms across the country in 2017 with 27 employees and $20 million in revenue. Other than social media the company operates an app called Nap App.[3][4][5]
In 2016, the company merged with Brooklyn Bedding a bed-in-a-box industry.[6][7]
In February 2019 Nest Bedding launched its first certified organic mattress by partnering with organic mattress company OMI.[8]
Nest Bedding produces USA made organic bedding and mattresses with lifetime warranty and allows every customer a trial period of 100 nights in total.[9][10]
Nest Bedding has 14 store locations across America including brick-and-mortar stores located in New York City and joined the bed-in-a-box movement in early stages.[11][3]
The company sells seven mattresses: the BKB, the Love & Sleep, the Natural Hybrid Latex, the All Latex, the Certified Organic Hybrid Latex, the Alexander Signature Series Flippable, and the Alexander Signature Hybrid.[12][13]
