Nettech Private Limited, known simply as Nettech,[4] is a computer networking training provider headquartered in Kolkata,[5] India. Its courses focus on computer networking in the Linux environment,[6] network security, information security management systems and counter measures against hacking [7] [8] [9] [10] and other cybercrime. Nettech was started on December 26, 2002 by Dr. Swapan Purkait, Ph.D.[11] from IIT Kharagpur, an MBA graduate from XIMB and a visiting faculty[12] at Goa Institute of Management.

- 2003: First In-campus program at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela.
- 2004: First all India summer program for students at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB).[13][14]
- 2005: All India summer program for students at XLRI.[15][16]
- 2006: First winter program at IIT Kharagpur (December 6 - January 7).
- 2007: Summer Training program at IIT Kanpur (June 21 - July 15).[17]
- 2008: Network Management Program at Goa Institute of Management.[18]
- 2009: Summer program at IMT Ghaziabad,[19] BITS-Pilani Goa, LNMIIT Jaipur, XIM Bhubaneswar, SMIT Sikkim [20] and UIM Greater Noida.
- 2010: Received ISO 9001:2008 Certification.[21][22]
- 2011: In-campus program at IIIT Bhubaneswar.[23]
- 2011: In-campus program at BIT Mesra. (4 to 23 February)

Academics[edit]
Nettech offers two main certification programmes:
Students are selected from all over India on first-cum-first serves basis. The company also conducts one-day workshop, seminar and technical talks in various Educational Institution across India and Nepal.[37][38][39][40][41]
T10 Test[edit]
T10 (Ten Mins 10 Marks test) is a computer based test designed by Nettech. T10 is designed to be extremely rigorous, testing ones working skills, not just test-taking skills.[42] It is a unique binary marking system; during the test one needs to complete a given task in 10 minutes time. Participants are given 10 marks for completing the task without a single error. Any single error including a spelling mistake will fetch 0.
T10 test can also be a group test where a group of 4-6 participants complete a given task in 10 minutes. After successful completion (without any error) all participants of the group will get 10 marks falling which, all will be awarded 0.
The result of all T10 tests are uploaded everyday on Nettech website for public viewing.
