New District is a multicultural pop-inspired boy band made up of members Dylan Rey, Sean Cavaliere, Jaden Bojsen, Devin Dressman and Felix Biernat. The band was formed by the talent search company Isina; they were discovered as individuals and brought together to create New District. Each member of the band brings a unique skill set to the table. They are currently working on their debut album produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Randy Jackson, which is anticipated to drop in Summer 2016. They also recently worked with Coca Cola to release a limited edition New District Coke bottle.[citation needed]
The group is influenced by the likes of Justin Timberlake and Drake. When they are not in the studio, rehearsing or performing, the boys like to hang out together playing video games, going surfing or riding around on their hoverboards together.[citation needed]
Their debut single "Closer" produced by Grammy-nominated producer Emile Ghantous (Pitbull, JoJo, Prince Royce),[1][2][3] is a catchy, upbeat song sure to be a hit with many different audiences, given the group’s unique cultural background.[4] New District’s “Closer” was #1 requested new single for Radio Disney Mailbag[5] and received over 2 million views on YouTube.[6][7]
The band recently performed at the KIIS FM station in Los Angeles as part of Next Up![8] They are also being featured on Spotify Fresh Finds.
Their EP will drop in July, a second single in June, and they have hopes of charting in TOP 100 early Summer.[9][10]
