New Earth [1] is the second studio album by Greek electronic music composer Sakis Gouzonis, released on September 9, 2009 [2] [3] [4].
The album includes 10 original electronic music tracks. All music tracks were composed, orchestrated, recorded, mixed and mastered by Sakis Gouzonis in his recording studio in Elassona, Greece.
The album won 1st Prize in the 2nd Meeting of Music & Poetry 2009 [5] [6] [7] [8]. Additionally, two of the album's tracks won music awards. In the international Composition Competition 2009, Sakis won 2nd Prize for his original electronic music track Elohim [6] [7] [8], and in the international Composition Competition 2010, Sakis won 1st Prize for his original electronic music track Eternal Peace [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [8]. Furthermore, in the UK Songwriting Contest 2009, Sakis won a Semi-Finalist Award for his original electronic music track Elohim, and in the UK Songwriting Contest 2010, Sakis won a Semi-Finalist Award for his original electronic music track Eternal Peace [2] [15].
When asked about New Earth, Sakis Gouzonis said: "New Earth contains ten electronic music tracks that radiate hope for a new earth. We are living in a transformative time in history when greater light shines onto the earth. A new earth is coming in which tears and pain will no longer exist." [16]

Sakis Gouzonis, also known to his listeners simply as Sakis, is a Greek electronic music composer, orchestrator, producer and performer.
Since August 8, 2008, Sakis has released 19 electronic music albums, each containing 10 original music tracks. In addition, Sakis Gouzonis has earned several music awards both inside and outside Greece, including two 1st Prizes in the international Composition Competition 2010, and one 1st Prize in the 2nd Meeting of Music & Poetry 2009 [17] [6] [7] [8].
Sakis Gouzonis originally gained fame through MySpace [18], once the world's largest social network. Within a short period of time, Sakis Gouzonis topped the MySpace Music Charts in Greece [19], and gained hundreds of thousands of friends worldwide. Today, Sakis Gouzonis is still the most popular Greek artist on MySpace, having more than 380,000 friends.
On August 1, 2008, Sakis launched his official website [20]. His official website made it easy for his listeners to find his full biography and discography, as well as photos and album covers, album reviews, articles, interviews, news and other interesting stuff.
In the course of his career, Sakis Gouzonis has given many interviews to many media outlets, including Flow (Greece) [21], Amigo (Greece) [22], Culture Point (Greece) [23], Eyeplug (UK) [24], Recovering The Self (USA) [25], We Are Going Nowhere (Indonesia) [26], Exposed Vocals (USA) [27], Drooble (Bulgaria) [28], IMAAI (USA) [29], the-System (Kenya) [30], and Meet The Artist (UK) [31].
