New Silver was founded in 2018 by partners Alex Shvayetsky and Kirill Bensonoff, real estate investors with backgrounds in fintech and property management.[1]. The loan origination software was launched in 2019.
New Silver originally made its services available in Connecticut and Massachusetts but has since expanded to include New Jersey, New York, Florida, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania[2]. The company has a main focus on single-family residential homes, but also finances small balance commercial investment properties. In 2019, New Silver funded a $2.6 million refinance of a 50 unit commercial apartment complex in New Britain, Connecticut[3].
New Silver was ranked 6th on the 50 Best Hard Money Lenders in New Haven list[4].
