The Next Media Services, commonly known as the Next Media, is a multimedia conglomerate in Uganda.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

History[edit]

The group was established in 2007, with NBS Television (Uganda).[8] Since 2008 Kin Kariisa serves as the CEO of Next Media Services.[2][9] In 2014, Kariisa acquired NBS Television (Uganda) fully.

Controversies[edit]

On 1 October 2021, 3 employees (Isaac ‘Kaiyz’ Kawalya, Brian Wako and Marko) of Next Media Services were arrested on charges of offensive communication.[15][7]
