From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Nicholas Allen Jones (born April 7, 1986) is an American serial entrepreneur. He is the founder of Good Burger, a popular hamburger chain in Boise, Idaho, and founder and CEO of Swift Impressions, an ad delivery platform.[1]

Early life and education[edit]

Jones was born to Michele Hileman and Doug Jones. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Boise State University in General Business Management and Human Resource Management in 2010 and completed his Master's from the University of Notre Dame in 2013. In the same year, Jones received an Educational Specialist Degree in Organizational Leadership.[2]

Career[edit]

Jones has started multiple companies, with Good Burger being one of his biggest successes. Good Burger was his plan when he was completing his Master's in 2013. He opened his first location at the Boise Towne Square Mall in the aftermath of a closed McDonald's food court location in March 2018. From December 2017 to April 2018, Jones spent hours making up his burger joint, working with local Boise chefs, suppliers and innovators, developing the Good Burger menu and branding. Robbie Rice was instrumental in helping develop the iconic Good Burger logo starting to dot the nation.[2]

"We're looking to do good through volunteerism with our employees, or giving back to local non-profits, or even funding missions in third-world countries that give health care to those who wouldn't normally have access to it," said Gaschler.[3]

Jones is also the founder of MAYO Consulting.

Congressional run[edit]

Jones ran for election to the US House for the First Congressional District of Idaho. He lost in the primary on June 2, 2020. He was a nonpartisan candidate for Seat 6 representative on the Boise City Council in Idaho. Jones was defeated in the general election on November 7, 2017.[4]

Philanthropy[edit]

Jones and others involved with the Good Burger franchise have taken trips to South American countries to help the hungry in areas that need it. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they are still wanting to help, but are focusing on the Treasure Valley.

"We've been giving away free meals to people at our downtown location. I just got a food truck that I'm gonna park and give out food to people, and we've been giving out food every Sunday. The international effort is now on pause, but we focus now, we focus on the community," said Jones.[5]
