Nick Johnson (b. 1982) is the creator and lead developer of the Ethereum Name Service (ENS), an alternative to the Domain Name System that runs on the Ethereum blockchain.[1]
In 1997, when he was 14 years old, he was interviewed by Reuters about a software program he wrote to help fix the Y2K bug.[2]
In 2016, he started working for the Ethereum Foundation.[3] In April of that year, he proposed a specification for ENS,[4] which launched on May 4th, 2017.[5]
