Nicolae Pandrea, born Sep. 22, 1937 in Dragosloveni, Vrancea is a Romanian mechanical engineer.[1] He graduated in 1960 from the Faculty of Mechanics of the Politehnica University of Bucharest and got his doctor's degree in 1973 from the same university, with the thesis "Contributions to the study of spatial mechanisms using the theory of screws.” Since 1990, he is professor at the University of Pitești. In 2002, he was awarded the Traian Vuia Prize of the Romanian Academy for the monography "Elements of the mechanics of solids in Pluckerian coordinates."
