Nicolas Blard, also known as Mr. Niko, is a French director in the animation industry. He is currently directing a 78x7' show for France Télévision "Toc-Toc"/"Bananimals" created by Hélène Bruller, Fabrice Ravier and comic artist Tébo. Part of his work credits includes storyboards on TV series such asDuckman at Klasky Csupo, and Atomic Betty as well as Robotboy aired on Cartoon Network, animated feature films such as Patrice Leconte's the Suicide Shop or Pachamama, and video games for Pixar Microsoft Games and Asobo Studios. He has directed animation on several episodes of Atomic Betty and Oggy and the Cockroaches. He worked several years developing and directing pilots for different TV series in Europe as well as in Asia.
He also worked on Fred's Head for Teletoon and France 2 as an animation director, and co-directed My Life Me for TV Loonland and Carpe Diem Film & TV.
Blard is also a French volunteer firefighter serving as Communication Expert Officer, collaborating with the French Firefighter Federation (FNSPF) and VISOV.
