Nicole Taylor Hart or Nicole Hart (born September 27, 1968) is an American actress and songwriter.

Biography and work[edit]

Hart was born Jennifer Nicole Cedzich in Nashville, Tennessee, United States, to the country songwriter, Chris Gantry, and Mary Cason. In 2003, she and Emerson Hart won an ASCAP award for "Best Theme Song of Television" for co-writing "Generation" for the NBC drama American Dreams.[1]

She was the co-host for CMT's Ultimate Home in 2004, along with Kim Nunn and Joe Parker.

Nicole was married to singer/songwriter Emerson Hart of the band Tonic from 2000 to 2008. The couple have a daughter, Lucienne Hart, born October 4, 2007.

Nicole married singer/songwriter Jace Everett on August 22, 2015 at their home in Nashville, TN. The couple record a podcast together called Nashville Later.
