Search Nightset on Amazon.Nightset is a nightlife social media, and social networking service mobile app.[1] Which was co-founded by Anna Frankowska, and her brother Andrzej Frankowski in London, England in 2016.[2] After securing $600,000 in funding from investment firm Delarki,[3] owned by a Bacardi family member, CEO Anna Frankowska was named in the 2017 Forbes 30 under 30 list, for technology in Europe.[4] In 2017, Nightset was listed in Real Business's Future 50, as one of the 50 most disruptive companies in the UK.[5]
Nightset connects users to nightlife venues in real-time, and allows them to share geotagged posts, and videos from nightclubs, and bars. Users can also buy event tickets, and request guestlists for clubs through the app.[6] Nightset's play feature, allows nightlife goers to discover, chat and date each other, either prior to going out, or in real-time at a nightlife venue.[7][1]
History[edit]
After having a nightlife app idea, Anna Frankowska, a recent UCL grad, quit her job as an investment banker in April 2015, to research London's nightlife industry.[6] In 2016, she founded Nightset app (then known as Party Hype), with her brother Andrzej Frankowski, a computer programmer, and CTO of the company.[8]
After initially being banned by the London School of Economics, Nightset found popularity amongst the student community,[9][10] and received $600,000 in investment from a Bacardi family member.[4]
In 2017, Nightset employed 10 people, and was named as one of the 50 most disruptive companies in the UK, by Real Business.[5]
