Niharicka Singh
Niharicka Singh (born 1991), known as Captain Nick, is an Indian YouTuber, comedian, and digital content creator known for her comedic videos reflecting contemporary Indian social and cultural life.[1]
Early life and education
Niharicka Singh was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.[citation needed] She completed her post-graduate degree in communication and journalism from the University of Mumbai in 2014.[citation needed] Early on, she developed an interest in media and comedy, participating in theatre workshops and taking on print and small acting roles.[citation needed]
Career
Singh began her career as an intern at RadioCity 91.1 FM in Mumbai.[2] She worked on the breakfast show "Kasa Kai Mumbai" for over six months.[2] After gaining initial experience in radio and theatre, she transitioned to digital content creation.
In 2016, Singh launched her YouTube channel "Captain Nick". She developed a unique style characterised by comedic sketches, mimicry, and commentary on social issues and daily life anecdotes. Her content primarily reflects urban Indian life and cultural observations. Her channel has amassed over 2.4 million subscribers and accumulated more than 720 million views.[citation needed]
