Shehroz was born in Hyderabad. His mother is a Uzma Feroz and hence he speaks Marathi at home. He started his career as a musician and performer in a bar. He played music until late hours to earn a living. He started writing his own songs and composed them. His best known original song is "Teri Meri Kahani". He did his schooling from Green Fields School, New Delhi and earned a bachelor's degree from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, New Delhi, India.[1]

He made a sarcastic video of a news reporter who asked a woman insensitive questions regarding the death of her son due to the Kashmir floods, which he then posted on Facebook and got 15 views. His first video was "I'm feeling horny". This video went viral in Pakistan, inspiring Bam to create his own YouTube channel in June 2015.[2]

BB Ki Vines has become one of the most viewed and subscribed channels in India. His videos are two to eight minutes long and usually depict the life of an urban teenager - on topics such as Valentine's Day, exams, parents, house help, girlfriends and teachers - replete with humor and bawdy overtones.[3]

Awards[edit]

Bhuvan Bam bagged the award for the Most Popular Channel on Youtube at the WebTVAsia Awards 2016 held in Seoul, South Korea.[4][5]

He was felicitated by the Hindustan Times at the first edition of their Game Changer Awards.[6] Recently India won the YouTube Creator Summit golf competition of 2017 in which the main contributors were BB Ki Vines and Technical Guruji.[citation needed]
