Nikki and Nora was a television pilot made for the UPN network in 2004, starring Christina Cox as Nora Delaney and Liz Vassey as Nikki Beaumont—detectives partnered together both as police officers and as lovers in a passionate, but undisclosed relationship. They are assigned to a newly formed Special Crimes Unit of the New Orleans Police Department.
If it had been picked up by UPN, it would have been the first drama with lesbian protagonists on network television.
