Nicolae Tcaci (born March 3, 1997) known professionally as Nikko T.,[1] is a singer from the Republic of Moldova. In December 2020, he started the dance-pop music project with the stage name Nikko T.[2]
Life and career
Nicolae Tcaci[3] was born on March 3, 1997, in Drochia, Republic of Moldova.[4] He was surrounded by music from an early age. Before he started singing, he was a dancer. In 2012 he moved to the capital of Moldova, Chișinău, where he studied and started his career. He graduated from the National College of Commerce, after which he began studying at the Faculty of Fine Arts (USM) where in the summer of 2019, he finished his studies as a choral conductor and singer.[5]
In 2019 he began recording his debut track. He collaborated on the track with Smally, Gloria Gorceag. He officially started his music career in late 2020 with the song "Dansăm". Shortly after, he released his second song "One More Night" which was premiered on The Morning TV show "Matinalii".
On October 1, 2021, he released a new song "Te-aș Iubi".
On June 17, 2022, Nikko released a new song "Loving You".
Selecția Națională participation[6][7]
On January 17, 2023 Nikko entered the Moldovan national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.[8][9]
