Gloria Gorceag (born 21 November 1987) is a Moldovan singer, songwriter, and television presenter. She gained fame in the Republic of Moldova in 2008 after participating in the talent show Fabrica de staruri, where she was a finalist.[1]

Early life and career beginnings[edit]
Born in Soroca, Republic of Moldova, Gloria Gorceag graduated from the Romanian-German high school Mihail Kogălniceanu. She began her studies at the Universitatea Tehnică din Republica Moldova but later transferred to Universitatea Perspectiva to study Interior Design. In 2009, she began studying journalism at Moldova State University.
Gorceag developed a love for music at an early age, influenced by international music and MTV. She sang in the school choir and participated in various music festivals and competitions. In 2008, she became a contestant on the talent show Fabrica de staruri.
2015–present[edit]
Since 2015, Gorceag has presented the national selections for the Eurovision. In 2018, she began hosting her own talk show, Istoriile Gloriei.[2] In 2019, she released the hit single Tudore featuring Lia Taburcean, which garnered over 10 million views on YouTube.[3]
Personal life[edit]
Gorceag married singer and music producer Vitalie Cătană, known professionally as Smally, in 2017.[4] They have two children: Leonardo, born in 2018, and Oliver, born in 2021.
