The Nile citizens (NCS) is a multinational news channel and website headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. Founded in 2023 by Macout Matur, who is the executive president, as a 24-hour news channel and website.
History
The Nile Citizens was founded in 2023[1]. With the executive vice president of NCS hiring most of the channel's first 100 employees. Nile Citizens says its primary aim is to contribute to social discussions by providing readers with an alternate depiction of events that occur in Sudan, South Sudan and East Africa, and to establish an engaging social platform for readers to discover and discuss the various issues that impact the two countries and the region.[2]
