Nilesh Nilkanth Oak

Nilesh Nilkanth Oak is an American author, researcher and an expert on Indian civilization and history.[1] He has done his BS and MS in Chemical Engineering after which he completed his MBA. Oak has worked on Lean Six Sigma, sales, operations, mergers and acquisitions, and executive corporate training too. He is the adjunct professor at Institute of Advanced Sciences.[2][3][4]
Work[edit]
Oak has authored the book 'When did Mahabharat War Happen?' [5][6] based on astronomy, archeology, anthropology, quantum mechanics, economics, ancient narratives and philosophy for dating of events in the epic. His book was nominated for the Lakatos award given by London School of Economics for contribution to philosophy of science. He also authored another book 'The Historic Rama' that falsifies multiple claims of dating of the Ramayan times.[7][8] Oak's claim suggests the Ram Ravana war happened in 12209 BCE.[9][10] His studies also claim Indian civilization as being 17000 years old and still counting as new material gets discovered.[11] Oak along with Ms Rupa Bhaty has also researched the antiquity of the Surya Siddhanta.[12][13] He has also presented his research that debunks the Aryan Invasion Theory.[14][15][16] Oak has also been a speaker for the series of Leadership talks conducted by the Ministry of HRD innovation cell (MIC) across several colleges and educational institutions across the country.[17][18]

Oak has authored three books and notably all his books are about the dating of ancient epics based on the key descriptions of astronomy, geology and corresponding independent research in related fields to arrive at the date window.[19][20]

Scholars and debates[edit]
Oak has debated and also collaborated with several scholars on several topics of Indology. In one such collaboration, he interviews Wim Borsboom for his research on the English alphabet.[21]
