Nima Bavardi (Persian: نیما باوردی, born 19 April 1992 in Tabriz) is an Iranian Industrial designer, painter and cartoonist. His designs include furniture, lighting, Industrial machinery, packaging, home appliance. Yanko Design[1] has described his design signature style as transparent globe.
Education[edit]
Bavardi received his B.A and M.A of Industrial Design in 2011 and 2015 from Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch.

Between the years 2016 to 2018 Bavardi won totally 11 awards at A’Design Award,[2]the World's largest design competition, which is held in Como, Italy. Bavardi's A'Design Awards include:

White hole[edit]
In 2017, Nima Bavardi designed a washbasin with the idea of black holes, which was very well received and was awarded IDA Design Award which is held in Los Angeles, the United States of America. [15]

In 2019, Iranian designer and manufacturer Villasufia collaborated with Bavardi to create a chandelier collection, which won the European Product Design Award's gold and bronze award.

Ranking[edit]
His name is among the top 100 designers in the World Design Consortium.[18] In 2016 he became 68th Designer of World in Lighting Products and Lighting Project Design Category. Also in 2017 he became No 3 Designer of Iran, No 83 Best Designer of World, No 40 Designer of the World in Home Appliances Design Category and No 40 Designer of the World in Digital and Electronic Devices Design Category.[19]
