Ninety One Cycles is a bicycle and e-bike manufacturer based in India.

History[edit]

Ninety One Cycles was started in 2015 by two brothers, Sachin and Vishal Chopra, who returned to India from Silicon Valley to launch their own business ventures after getting their MBAs at Wharton.[1]

The business manufactures and sells mid to premium range bicycles in India. Its range includes mountain bikes, all-terrain bikes, and fat-tire bikes, and bikes for children. It has factories in Ahmedabad in Gujarat with capacity for up to 18,000 bicycles a month.[2] Ninety One also produces Meraki e-bikes in India.[3][4][5][6]

Ninety One cycles are sold via its website and through dealers across India (1000 stores across 500 cities).[7]

The company has been funded by Fireside ventures, A91 Partners and Avaana Capital.[8][9]
