Nissen Osterneck is a Hawaiian mixed martial arts fighter. He currently trains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Shane Briggs, at the Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu of Myrtle Beach facility.[1] He holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has also trained with Muay Thai world champion Maurice Travis.[2] He is a follower of the Jewish faith.[3]
WEC career[edit]
Nissen fought wrestling phenom Jake Rosholt in his WEC debut at WEC 36, losing by way of TKO. His contract with the WEC was carried over to the UFC as part of the WEC dissolving its upper weight classes.
UFC career[edit]
Nissen Osterneck was released from the UFC after losing a split decision to Jorge Rivera at UFC Fight Night 18.
