No HATE Act
The No HATE Act or Khalid Jabara and Heather Heyer National Opposition to Hate, Assault, and Threats to Equality Act of 2019 is legislation to expedite the implementation of the National Incident-Based Reporting System.[1] According to the SPLC, the legislation is in response to high-profile attacks on the LGBTQ, Jewish, Muslim and other communities.[2] The two people it is named after were individuals whose killings were not included in state and federal data collection reports.[3]
