The Nobel University is a private for-profit university located in Los Angeles, California, and was founded in 2000. The university has two campuses in Los Angeles to provide on-campus and online undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies.
History
Nobel University was founded in the summer of 2000 in Los Angeles, California, to provide training in Oriental Medicine, and the institute began by offering a master’s degree program in acupuncture – Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM).
In 2003, the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education approved the institute to offer ESL certificate training program. In 2004, the institute offered the Business Administration (BA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. In 2006, the Institute also provided the Bachelor of Arts in Church Music program (BCM).
In 2009, the branch campus in the city of Buena Park, California, was opened to accommodate the growing student body. In 2013, the institute redirected its focus by concentrating on its business program offerings. Since the institute discontinued offering the ESL, BCM, and MSOM programs, it has specialized in business administration to deliver world-class business education for students.
Acreditation
Nobel University is a private institution that is approved to operate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) in California.[1]. Nobel University is a member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) and approved as a Category IV institution by the TRACS Accreditation Commission on April 22, 2024[2]. TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education (ED), and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)[3] [4]
