Noel Miller[lower-alpha 1] (born August 19, 1989) is a Canadian YouTuber, comedian, podcaster, and rapper. Miller first gained public attention via his short comedy skits on Vine. He is part of the comedy-rap duo Tiny Meat Gang with Cody Ko.

Early life[edit]

Noel Miller was born on August 19, 1989, in Toronto.[1][2] His family moved to Los Angeles, where he was raised. They were once forced to move back to Toronto after 1994 Northridge earthquake when Miller was four. Although Miller was inspired by his clasically trained father to learn musical instruments, he was introduced to hip hop through Cash Money Records and stand-up comedy through television as a teenager.[2]

Miller went to college and had several side jobs, including at Best Buy and as an intern at a music studio. He dropped out in his second-last semester and quickly accumulated debt.[3]

Career[edit]

Vine and Fullscreen (2019–2020)[edit]

Miller started recording videos on the now-defunct application Vine, with one of his videos going viral with 2.6 million loops[quantify].[4] Around the same time, he started recording some short comedy sketches on his YouTube channel. Later, the content changed to more reaction-based content.

He worked at Fullscreen.

YouTube and Cody Ko (2019–2020)[edit]

He is friends with fellow YouTuber and former Viner, Cody Ko,[5] often collaborating with him on commentary videos, as well as making music together as comedy rap duo Tiny Meat Gang.[6] Tiny Meat Gang released the EPs Bangers & Ass on December 15, 2017[7] and Locals Only on December 20, 2018,[8] as well as signing to Arista Records in October 2019.[9] The duo host a commentary series together called That's Cringe[6] as well as a podcast called the Tiny Meat Gang Podcast.[10]

Tiny Meat Gang and solo music (2019–2020)[edit]

In early 2019, Tiny Meat Gang won Best Podcast at the 11th Shorty Awards.[11][12] Miller accepted the award at the PlayStation Theater, New York City, on May 5, 2019.[12][13] In 2019, wanting to return to his roots of film making, Miller wrote and directed the short dark comedy film SUKI.[14]

In 2020, Miller created the series "Hotlaps", where he would interview guests while driving a car-desk hybrid vehicle made for the show. Guests included Twitch streamer Hasan Piker[15] and YouTuber Twomad.

The same year, Miller recorded his debut EP Push, releasing it under the name NOEL. Miller stated that the project was created as a gift to his father, who had once been a musician.[16]

TMG Studios and tour (2021–2023)[edit]

In October 2021, Miller and Kolodziejzyk founded Tiny Meat Gang Studios.[17]

In 2021, as COVID-19 restrictions in the United States loosened, Miller resumed his stand-up shows. On October 8, 2021, Miller released a schedule of upcoming shows running into 2022.[citation needed]

In 2023, Miller has scheduled his international tour "Everything is F#&ked".[18]

Personal life[edit]

Miller lives in Los Angeles with his fiancée Aleena and their dog, Ollie. The pair announced their engagement on Instagram on October 13, 2020.[19]

An avid fan of motorsport, Miller has often talked about Formula One on his Twitch streams, particularly after a race weekend. He created a third YouTube Channel named "Everything but the Points" where he would exclusively talk about Formula 1, however as of October 2021 all content on the channel has been deleted.[20] In June 2020, he took part in the "Not the GP" virtual race in the F1 2020 video game, competing against other streamers and F1 drivers Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, and Nicholas Latifi.[21][22] He has started go-karting under the tutelage of former NASCAR driver Troy Adams and competed in a few races.[23]
