Joseph Njoku, professionally known as EverythingOShauN or OShauN, is a Canadian recording artist, songwriter, actor and co-founder of GSX Music, an independent record label.[1][2] EverythingOShauN was listed in the 2016 New Artist Spotlight on Apple music for his debut album Until Now.[3][4]
Early life and education[edit]
EverythingOShauN was born in Toronto to his mother who is of Jamaican descent, and his father of Nigerian descent who is also a published author. The family moved to Brampton when EverythingOShauN was a child and began taking piano lessons at the age of four.
Career[edit]
EverythingOShauN began his music career while he was still in high school. He got featured in numerous mixtapes by local artists. Soon, EverythingOShauN was featured on the Buffalo, New York radio station 93.7 WBLK for his song Smirnoff Ice.[5]
During his time at Brock University, EverythingOShauN starred in many theatre productions and afterwards, moved on to work with professional theatre companies such as Mixed Company Theatre, Shakespeare in Action & EMG Education.[6][7]
EverythingOShauN is the co-founder of GSX Music, which he established with his brother Xpress aka DJXP.[8][9] GSX Music started the Bass N’ Tings music festival that featured several artists such as ShaqIsDope, The BLK LT$ (formerly: Andreena), Ebhoni, Haviah Mighty and Just John.[10][11]
EverythingOShauN released his debut album Until Now in 2016.[12]
