Norman Wildberger
Norman J. Wildberger, a mathematician. Wildberger holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from Yale University, and taught at Stanford University from 1984 to 1986 and at the University of Toronto from 1986 to 1989; he was an associate professor of mathematics at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
In May 2025, Wildberger published a paper[1] together with Dean Rubine.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] Wildberger extended the Catalan numbers to get power series solutions to polynomial equations of any degree. His co-author claims that these hyper-Catalan numbers trace back to letters by Newton.[9]
