Norrenberger
The Norrenberger Financial Group (NFG), also known as ‘Norrenberger’, is a leading Nigerian financial services company with core competencies in Investment Management, Investment Banking, Structured and Alternative Finance, and Financial Advisory Services. The Institution is headquartered in Nigeria’s capital; the FCT, Abuja, Nigeria.
Norrenberger was incorporated in 2017 and became fully operational in September 2018.
The company is wholly Nigerian-owned and is named after the Norrenberger Bach.
Subsidiaries[edit]
Norrenberger has three subsidiaries; Norrenberger Investment Managers, Norrenberger Advisory Partners and Norrenberger Bureau De Change.
Norrenberger Investment Managers[edit]
Norrenberger Investment Managers, also known as Norrenberger Investment and Capital Management Ltd. (NICML), is the investment management subsidiary of Norrenberger. NICML operates under licensing by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Nigeria to provide investment and asset management products and services. NICML provides portfolio management, wealth management and advisory services to institutional and individual clients.
Corper Invest[edit]
In July 2019, Norrenberger launched Corper Invest[1]; an investment and venture funding product that allows current and recently passed out participants of the Nigerian Youth Service Corp to invest towards a viable business and receive venture capital funding to help launch their business ideas.[2]
Venture Capital Funding[edit]
In 2019, Norrenberger invested in the first Kannywood Video streaming service; Northflix.
Norrenberger Advisory Partners Ltd[edit]
Norrenberger Advisory Partners Ltd (NAPL) is the investment banking and advisory subsidiary of the Norrenberger Financial Group. NAPL serves as a registered Issuing House and Financial Advisor.
Norrenberger Bureau De Change[edit]
The foreign exchange subsidiary of Norrenberger offers bespoke foreign exchange services to travelers and those with business obligations requiring foreign currency.
Leadership[edit]
In April 2019, Norrenberger announced the appointment of the Chairman of its Board of Directors; Alhaji Ibrahim Aliyu Bala, as well as the constitution of its six-person Board of Directors.[3]
