North West[3] (born June 15, 2013), is an American rapper and internet celebrity. In 2024, she was featured on "Talking", a single by her father Kanye West, alongside Ty Dolla Sign. The song served as a debut single for North West, making her one of the youngest artists to chart on Billboard Hot 100.[4]

Early life[edit]

North West was born on June 15, 2013, in Los Angeles, California.[5][6][7] She is the oldest of three siblings and the first-born daughter of rapper Kanye West and socialite Kim.[8] Her mother, Kim Kardashian is a businesswoman, and was 32 when she gave birth to North West.[9] Her parents married in 2014 and divorced in 2022 when West was nine years old.[10][11][12] In 2018, West attended first grade at Sierra Canyon School for Early Education, a private school in Los AngelesCalifornia.[13]
