Nosh Technologies

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Nosh Technologies developed the “nosh – Food Stock Management” app[1], which helps users to manage food stock and track and help reduce food waste. The app tracks your buying and food waste habits using an in-house artificial intelligence (A.I.) algorithm along with its capability to suggest recipes on the stocked food items. Nosh is available for free to use without any in-app purchases for Android and iPhone.

Background

Nosh Technologies was founded by Somdip Dey and Suman Saha in 2021 and is based in London, United Kingdom.[2] The co-founders came up with the concept[3] of an easy-to-use platform that helps people save food during the crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic.[4] On 12 March 2020, nosh released their Google and iOS app on the Google Play and Apple App Store, respectively.[5]

The founders realised that an unnecessary amount of food was being wasted every day due to a lack of management. They came up with a solution that was hailed by the media houses as one of the biggest revolutions of the 21st century.[6]
