Novaquark currently helds several computer graphics and virtual reality patents by authorship founder and CEO Jean-Christophe Baillie and CTO Guillaume Gris in Europe[6] [7], the US[8] and Canada[9] [10]. The company uses these technologies in the development of Dual Universe. In particular, Novaquark used his patented proprietary technology named as Continuous Single Shard Cluster (CSSC) [11] in the game it publishes[12]. During the development of the game and the implementation of this technology, the developers from Novaquark explained[13] the main principles on the basis of which it functions. In addition, Novaquark is also the developer of its own proprietary voxel engine named as Voxelmancy, which is also used in their MMO game[14]. Name Voxelmancy has registered by Novaquark in 2022 as trademark of IP in Australia[15]. As of the end of 2022, the company-maintained MMO has over 450,000 subscribers and over 4,000 daily active players and is ranked 67/138 of all MMOs[16]
