Stichting Kennispark Twente

Novel-T, formerly Stichting Kennispark Twente, is a Dutch state startup accelerator and ecosystem for "innovation and entrepreneurship" based in Enschede, the Netherlands.[2][3] It was founded as a joint venture between the University of Twente, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, municipality of Enschede, Regio Twente, and the province of Overijssel.[4][5][6]

Novel-T provides business development advice, legal support, organizes startup events, and also runs TOP, a pre-seed investment fund for innovating startups.[7][8]

History[edit]

Kennispark Twente was founded as a business park and support program for high tech startups in the Twente region. In March 2017, the support program was renamed to Novel-T for a better distinction between the organization and the campus.[9][10][11]

About 11,000 new jobs and over 2,200 startups have been created through Novel-T's support.[12][13]

Spin-offs[edit]

The following companies were founded in the Kennispark and have since spun-off:
