Now..her (Arabic: الأن..هنا), it is a novel that about or belongs to prison literature by Abd Al-Rahman Munif[1]. And it was published in1991.he expressed the political situation experienced by the Arab world people, and it includes a number of young victims people who are excited for freedom. The novel continues the journey of Abd Al-Rahman in the jail of the Arab world after the novel before 15 years ago, as if he says that time has no effect on the relationship between power and citizens. And as mentioned in the “Eastern Mediterranean” novel the place and time are not clear, but rather are camouflaged, as Munif invents the picture of the two countries “Amoriah and Moran”, in which they are just an image of the reality experienced by the people of the Arab world in general.[2]

The novel is divided into 3 long chapters:
- “ The Vestibule” (Original title:Al-dihliz), it begins with Adel Al-Khalidi, the narrator of the story, the former political prisoner of the Amoriah statem for treatment, where he meets another prisoner from the second country Moran, and it was Tala’ Al-Arefi, both of them are well educated. They soon enter into a close friendship, under common denominators of their past, the most important feature of this part is depicts the dreams of the two men’s of freedom and democracy in light of their interaction with the West. It ends with Adel Al-khalidi leaving Prague for Paris after Tala’ Al-Arefi’s the death, who took pains to write down all of the details of his bitter experience.
- “Fires of Presence and Absence” (Original title:Harayiq Al-hudur wa’alghiab), in this chapter contain a collection of papers by Tala’ Al-Arefi that he left to Adel Al-Khalidi. The events in this chapter starts from the incident of his arrest without focusing on his kinetic past. Tala’ looks forward to a free homeland and conscious people, but he soon collides with harsh authority. Through his papers, we read a glorification of steadfastness through his portrayal of other personalities in the prisons of Moran.
- “Margins of our sad days” (Original title:Hawamish ‘ayaamina Al-hazinah), in this chapter, the role of the narrator turns to Adel Al-Khalidi, who is in Paris, retells his experience in detail with more focus on the tools used in prison to torture, also trying to know the characters of the prisoners he lived with and the characters of the jailers, by tried to justify it throughout the atmosphere in which the whole country lives.
