Nazar Najjar

Nazar Najjar (Arabic: نزار نجار) (1949) is a Syrian writer, born in Hama. He obtained a BA in Arabic language and literature from Damascus University. He worked as a teacher and devoted oneself to journalistic work and literary creativity. He is a member of the Arab Writers Union - Syria and the Federation of Arab Journalists. He published in Hama a picture magazine for children and juniors entitled “let’s Read” (original: t'aal naqra). Some of his stories for children have been translated into Russian, German, Albanian and Farsi.[1]
