Major Nungleppam Buddhimanta Singh, KC, SM, VSM is an Indian Army officer of the Punjab Regiment. [1]
Early life[edit]
Nungleppam Buddhimanta Singh was commissioned in the Rajput Regiment.[2]
Military Career[edit]
Singh was awarded with the Sena Medal (gallantry) for his courageous act in 2002.
On the Republic Day, 2008 Major Singh was awarded India's second highest peacetime gallantry award the Kirti Chakra for his gallant act on 17 April 2013. In this time Kumar was deployed in 32 Assam Rifles in Manipur.[3][4]
Major Singh was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal for his distinguished serviceservice in 2010.[5][6][7]
