NUUA METRO is an offline subway application, a subway-only version of apps like Citymapper and Transit (app). It is innovated from TripAI, first launched in May 2019, and released as NUUA METRO on Apple Store[1] and Google Play Store[2] by Nuua Inc. in January 2023 for free. Nuua has also developed NUUA METRO webpage for user to use the service in web browser.
The app was designed to provide travelers a faster, easier, and smarter ride. It offers users to search between any two locations in a supported city and provides users several metro transit routes (including the best recommended routes) and train schedules with real-time public transit data. Its location-based service tells the closest station from the user's current location by using the real-time geotagging data. Currently, the app is available to function in 13 metropolitan areas of major Asian cities.
Users can find several transit route suggestions to reach the destination. They usually include the best recommended route which is filtered as the fastest and least transfer in the lowest rate. Also, it supports with multi-languages such as English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese and Korean. Users can check up-to-date route information without internet connection and pop-up advertisements.
NUUA METRO supports to check railway line schedule and maps. It is available to download the maps from its webpage.
