Ofeliadorme inspired by Rimbaud’s poem, "Ophelie", is a band from Bologna, Italy, formed in 2008. The members of the band are Francesca Bono (vocal, guitar, keyboard), Michele Postpischl (drums) and Tato Izzia (synth, electronics).

History[edit]

Over the years the band released 2 LPs and numerous EPs, 7″ and singles,[1] and has been touring in the UK, China, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium.

Ofeliadorme’s third full length "Secret Fires", produced, mixed and recorded by Howie B (Bjork, Tricky, U2, Soul II Soul) and engineered by Joe Hirst (Four Tet, Jarvis Cocker, DJ Shadow) comes out on March 17, 2017 on the label HB Recordings.[2]

In March 2017 they are invited to play at SXSW festival.[3]

In May 2017, Bowers & Wilkins, in collaboration with Peter Gabriel's Real World Records, published the high-quality digital version of the album "Secret Fires"[4] with two bonus tracks, "Visions" remixed by Nicol, a French producer, and Birch's remix made by Dobie, a British musician, producer and an old friend of Howie B and his Pussyfoot Records.

On July 29, 2017 they performed at the WOMAD Charlton Park Festival in England[5], one of the most prestigious music and arts events in all 5 continents, sharing the stage with international artists such as Rival Consoles, Floating Points, Portico Quartet, Tom Hickox and Addictive TV.

In September 2017 they return to the United Kingdom to participate with DJ Krush, Andrea Parker and Beak> at the Synthesis Festival[6] organized by Gamma Proforma record label and publisher in London .
