Businesses[edit]
Main businesses of Ogmios group are:
- Acquisition of old, technologically outdated and economically unviable factories (mainly those constructed under Soviet occupation) and turning them into territories for offices, retail and warehouses. Examples: Ogmios City (former car plant) and Ogmios Savanoriai (former chemical factory) in Vilnius, Ogmios Baltija in Klaipėda (part of a former food processing plant).
- Construction, administration, rent and possible sale (to funds) of new shopping malls (Babilonas in Panevėžys, Bruklinas in Šiauliai, Parkas and Domus galerija in Vilnius.
- Construction and administration of logistic centres (Airport Business Park, Vilija Business Park in Vilnius, part of Babilonas in Panevėžys).
- Construction and administration of new office buildings (offices above „Domus galerija“).
- Administration of hotels (Algirdas Hotel and Rūdninkų vartai in Vilnius, Keturi kalnai in Anykščiai).
- Construction of new buildings for a particular customer (later these buildings would be sold or leased to the person who ordered construction).
- Development of new multifunctional city districts (Babilonas in Panevėžys, Bruklinas in Šiauliai).
Ogmios group declares that among its advantages is the possibility to provide prmises of different types (e.g. shops, offices, warehouses and factories) next to each other in the same developments. For example, in the 80 ha Babilonas development there are shopping malls, restaurants, entertainment areas, shops, factories, detached homes, apartment buildings and offices already built, under construction or planned.
