Oladayo Oluwole

Where she obtained her Senior Cambridge School Certificate Examinations Grade 1 with exemption from London Matriculation in 1949/50. She was the Nigerian Female Assistant Superintendent of Prisons - the beginning of a series of "firsts" she recorded during a distinguished career in the Federal Civil Service . She was promoted Superintendent of Prisons in 1966- the first female indigenous superior officer in the Nigeria Prisons Service. She became the first female Chief Superintendent of Prisons in 1971 & later first female Assistant Director of Prisons in 1975 - the only female at that time to be in charge of a State Command in the Prisons Service . She was later posted to the Prisons Staff College Kirikiri Lagos, where she was the first female Controller and Commandant for 9 years before her voluntary retirement in 1984. She went to be with the Lord on the 13th January 1984
