Ehis Oboh, known by his artist name Oligbese or Oligbese 4 Sale, is a veteran [1] Nigerian Afrobeat, Reggae singer. Oligbese earlier stormed Ajegunle to work with likes of Baba Fryo, Daddy Showkey and others in the 90’s. He became an international star with his songs like “Kpamurege”[2] in the 2000s, and “God Over Everything”[3]. Born in Benin City, Edo State, [4] his name Oligbese in Nigerian pidgin, means debtor, he is also known for his dress code, (a black cap, broadly written Oligbese 4Sale), which means “debtor for sale” in Nigerian pidgin language. In 2018 he was awarded the monarch’s Obaland Awards, under the international category “Obaland Royal Awards” for Nigeria Best artist manager Honor[5]
