One&Only Papagayo
One&Only Papagayo is a 7-star resort set to open on the Papagayo Peninsula of Costa Rica. Development was confirmed by Mohammed Al Shaibani, Minister of the Dubai Royal Court and Executive Director of the Investment Corporation of Dubai in December 2021. It will have 167 rooms and 41 residences.[1][2] Completion was originally slated for November 2023, but the COVID-19 Pandemic delayed the construction by at least two years, according to the Gulf of Papagayo Tourist Complex.[3] The project is not on One&Only’s website[4] and the opening date is still unconfirmed.
