OnePageCRM is an Irish cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) company. It is the developer of a sales customer relationship management (CRM) tool for small and medium-sized businesses.[1] The company serves over 11,000 customers[2] in more than 80 countries[3] and reported annual recurring revenues exceeding €1 million as of 2018.[4]

History[edit]

OnePageCRM was founded in 2010 by Michael FitzGerald in the NUI Galway Business Innovation Centre.[3][5] The company built a tool for managing daily sales tasks and activities,[4][6] incorporating concepts from David Allen's Getting Things Done (GTD) method.[3] The Times described OnePageCRM as a "task-driven, step-by-step guide through the sales process".[7]

The company's product development followed the lean startup methodology, initially offering OnePageCRM as a free tool and relying on user feedback to develop further functionality.[8][9]

In 2010, while still in beta, OnePageCRM won the 'Best New Web Application/Service' award at the Irish Web Awards, evaluated by over 150 independent judges.[10][11][12]

In 2011, OnePageCRM came out of beta and launched a public and paid version of its service.[13]

In 2013, OnePageCRM received funding from Enterprise Ireland and private investors[14] and created new jobs in Galway, Ireland.[15][16][17] It also became the first recipient of the Twilio Fund Europe 2013, a program established by Twilio and the US startup accelerator 500 Global (previously 500 Startups).[18][19][20] According to The Guardian, OnePageCRM attracted interest from large enterprises, such as IBM and Cisco.[9] In 2014, it had over 3,000 users across Ireland, the UK, the US, and also Australia.[12]

In 2018, CEO Michael FitzGerald undertook a month-long campervan tour across the UK to directly engage with small businesses.[21][22][23]

In 2020, the company shifted its focus from sales to customer support to assist small businesses during the COVID-19 lockdowns.[24]

In 2023, OnePageCRM was shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Innovator of the year’ category in the SFA National Small Business Awards 2024, which received support from the former Taoiseach Leo Varadkar.[25] The Awards are organized annually by the Small Firms Association (SFA) and supported by various Irish organizations, such as National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), Enterprise Ireland, Irish Independent, and others.[26][27]

In late 2023, Chambers Ireland announced its endorsement of OnePageCRM.[28]

In 2024, Forbes Advisor included OnePageCRM in the list of simple CRM solutions for "its action-focused sales management".[29][30]
