OpenQuote is an online Insurance Quotation solution, quotations can be produced and insurance products maintained over the web. Multiple insurance products can be configured to support any line of business via externalised product definitions and rules.
OpenQuote is open source with no charges to license its use. The software is distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), a license that has been approved by the Open Source Initiative (OSI).
Vision[edit]
OpenQuote's vision is to bring a free to use insurance quote engine to the end user. The challenge is to deliver a solution directly to the business community, that is easy to use, install, tailor and create insurance products.
